1. How to power the light?

a. NP-F series battery. Such as NP-F970/NP-F750/NP-F55N.

b. V-mount/Gold mount battery via a D-tap cabel.

c.  Power bank or normal USB charger which can output 5V/ 2A. (ONLY OUTPUT 10W)

Notice: Batteries can't be charged by AL-F7.

2.Brightness can't be changed.

If you are using the USB power, it is normal.  The USB power only can supply a 5V*2A=10W power. But the max power of AL-F7 is 15W. So the brightness can't be changed when the brightness beyond 80%.

PS: Some USB charger or power bank only can output 1A or 500mA electricity.

3.Why not the AL-F7 be worked with my laptop charger?

Please use the normal USB charger. Such as cellphone charger(5V 2A or 5V 1A).

If you are using a laptop charger which can out put 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V or 20V, the AL-F7 will not be charged by this charger.

We are very sorry for this. The AL-F7 does not support USB PD for now.
