LS 300D II
Redefining Brightness
CHANGING THE GAME
Powered by user feedback, the new and improved 300d Mark II is 20% brighter, more durable, more portable, and more intelligent than the original 300d.
EVEN MORE OUTPUT
300d Mark II outputs a whopping 20% more light than its predecessor. When combined with the Fresnel 2X, the 300d Mark II can produce up to 90,000 lux, approaching the luminance of a 575W HMI.
REINVENTED FEATURES
The new yoke allows for 360° of rotation, and when combined with the handbrake locking mechanism from the 120d Mark II, you’ll be able to secure the light in any position, with any modifier.
REVOLUTIONARY REDESIGN
The 300DII control box is completely silent, composed of aluminum alloy, a built-in antenna, and military-grade paracord strap. It also is the first light to feature the Aputure Quick Release Plate and Clamp, allowing it to securely attach to any stand, truss, or speed rail.
INDIE FILMMAKERS REJOICE
The 300d II features new technology that allows users to power the light using a single battery, at up to half it’s original output. The included 6m Neutrik cable provides a reliable locking power connection, and the optional 7.5m 5-pin XLR gives you the ability to always keep the control box nearby.
BUILT-IN EFFECTS
The 300d II launches with 8 built-in lighting effects, with more coming via future firmware updates: Explosion, Faulty Bulb, TV, Strobe, Paparazzi, Lightning, Fireworks, Pulsing.

ADAPTABILITY
With 0-100% dimming control, the 300d II can be used in low-light environments or to overpower the sun; featuring 4 different dimming curves: Linear, Logarithmic, Exponential, and S-Curve.
OPTIONAL CONTROLLABILITY
In addition to the control wheel, the 300d Mark II features DMX512-compatibility, a 2.4Ghz Wireless remote, and the ability to be controlled by our Sidus Link App using Bluetooth 5.0.
SIDUS LINK
The 300d Mark II will be the first app-controllable Aputure lighting fixture. Using Bluetooth SIG mesh network technology, Sidus Link™ allows you to control your lights from up to 400 meters away, by linking multiple lights up to 80 meters apart.
REIMAGINED CARRYING CASE
300d Mark II carrying case is composed of durable walls with a soft exterior lining that can support up to 100kg, providing both ample protection and a seat for you on set.

LS 300D II Support
IS THIS LIGHT COMPATIBLE WITH THE SIDUS LINK MOBILE APP CONTROL SYSTEM?
Yes, the LS C300d II is natively compatible with the Sidus Link App.
WHAT BATTERIES ARE RECOMMENDED FOR THE LS C300D II?
1x or 2x 190Wh+ 14.4V 15A V-Mount or AB Gold Mount (3-Stud) Batteries
You will need two compatible batteries to achieve maximum output with the LS C300d II via DC Battery power. However, the technology in the LS C300d II also allows you to use only one compatible battery to power the LS C300d II up to half of its maximum output.
To power high wattage LED lights, we recommend batteries that are rated to be capable of withstanding a constant amount of high power draws. Therefore, for best results, we recommend using batteries that are capable of continuously discharging 14-15 Amps, to provide adequate headroom for the power draw. We also recommend batteries that are 190Wh or larger to provide adequate run times.
You should also be using 14.4V V-Mount or Gold Mount (3-Stud) batteries depending on the battery plates that are on your respective control box. Using higher voltage batteries will likely result in damage to the light, and will cause malfunctions that will require internal components to be repaired. Officially tested batteries include:
IDX Duo C198
IDX Cue-D300
SWIT PB-R290S
FXLion BP-190S / AN-190A
FXLion BP-M200
FXLion BP-250S / AN-250A
GEN ENERGY G-B100 290Wh (22A)
GEN ENERGY G-B100 290Wh (15A)
Batteries that have been recommended by users but have NOT been officially approved include:
Blueshape BV190HDplus / BG190HDplus
Blueshape BV290HDplus / BG290HDplus
Core SWX Helix XL
Core SWX Hypercore XL (293Wh)
D&O Lighting BP-C190A/S
Anton Bauer Digital 190 Gold Mount Battery
FXLion HP-300S
Dynacore D-310MS 310Wh
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AMP-HOURS (AH) AND CONTINUOUS AMPERAGE DISCHARGE (A) FOR MY BATTERIES?
A V-Mount or Gold Mount (3-Stud) battery often has an Amp-Hours or Ah specification. This is another way of writing Watt-Hours or Wh, which is commonly how people measure the capacity of their batteries. For our high-powered LED lights, we recommend batteries that are capable of delivering at least 14-15 Amp continuous discharge for best results, and battery longevity. The discharge rate measures how much energy a battery is capable of transferring from itself, to whichever device is drawing power from it. Higher wattage devices require higher discharge rates.
Amp-Hours (Ah) should not be confused with the discharge rate. For example, a 14.4V 310Wh battery has roughly 21Ah of capacity. However, the battery may only be capable of continuously discharging 15A.
