Brilliant

Makes filming for my run in gun type situations easy

Perfect (aside from one small thing)

LOVE this handle. It would be more perfect if there was a 1/4-20 mounting bracket at the bottom. Highly recommend!

Nice option for sure

I typically only shoot on a tripod for documentary films. But recently I assisted in a more mobile shoot. This was really nice to use.

Nice Handle, Could be Better

I liked the idea of this bracket when I saw the video—it’s a small enough package for run-and-gun shoots. The two protrusions in the mount prevent the light from rotating left or right.

However, the setup is heavy after you add on the D-Tap Battery and the light modifier (I used an umbrella)

I bought a longer cord and plan to have the battery on a shoulder strap, or I’ll be attaching the battery to my backpack shoulder strap to distribute the weight

I think a strong lanyard hole on this bracket will be very useful, for attaching a wrist strap or a safety strap. It should be strong enough to support the light plus D-Tap battery plus modifier.

I would like a tripod mount on the bottom of the bracket so I can attach it to a tripod or light stand or even a monopod, so I can have an assistant support this on a monopod holder for longer shoots

I would not use the included battery holder—the light kept shutting off by itself, then wouldn’t turn on

I did not have the shut off problem when I used a D-Tap Battery
