The TC-1 takes the best parts of timecode box units from the past and brings them all together into a timecode generator built for the future. We developed it to fit into your workflow, no matter how you work. You can wirelessly jam it from your phone or even wirelessly sync it from other boxes using our proprietary 8-channel 2.4G radio ecosystem. You can also hardwire jam it or use it to internally generate timecode and jam other devices.

The app is user friendly, the screen is GREAT! You can name each unit and see the name on the screen, doesn't drift. 10/10
Really like the OLED display for the Time Code. Have to use the Tentacle Desktop app to sync the files. FCPX can’t do it internally. Overall, a great product!
I like the TC-1 format with the display over the Tentacle Sync. But, you still can use the Tentacle Sync desktop software to sync the sound with the video. Unfortunately, FCPX does not natively support the Timecode audio format. Davinci and Adobe do.
and there don't seem to be any spare ones for sale on the site. My setup requires three.
Coming from first-gen tentaclesync boxes, which served us well - but these are a definitive step up. Worked flawlessly out of the gate on two shoots so far, syncing two cameras and a field recorder without issue. The immediate visual feedback of the screens, along with the excellent Sides audio app, provided complete confidence in our on-the-day timecode setup.
