Love this slate by Deity, the bluetooth sync LIFE SAVING. def recommend this slate for any professionals out there.
I've used the TC-SL1 for last 6 months on 2 movie projects and it worked without any issues, the battery life lasted all day on 14-hour shoots, I paired with the tc - timecode generators and was able to keep cameras synced all day. The LCD shows bright enough in day light to view. I can't say enough about how this raise production value to my sets and really cuts time in my workflow edit to be able to sync to timecode. I would recommend this unit for anyone looking to add ability to jam sync devices and organize their shoots in post. The unit is very well built.

I love this it makes my job easier. It’s easy to connect easy to set up. I’m very happy with it helps me out and pose.
Firmware 1.0 needs some work. There is no "back button" on the micro menu's used to configure the slate without the app. Would be 5/5 if they had a hardware/software back button and a more intuitive menu system.
In order to go back in the menu, you just need to long press the select button.
