The fact that this microphone features a "microprocessor that adapts the TRRS plug to work with almost any 3.5mm microphone jack," makes this microphone perfect. I use mine with my laptop as a microphone for gaming, zoom meetings, and discord chats. But the best part is I can plug it straight into my phone to use for high quality audio to pair with a great camera. Having a small battery pack near the end of the connection doesn't bother me one bit. Especially since there's a green light that shows that the microphone is working and is able to switch between TRS and TRRS. It also comes with a white faux fur windshield which is nice.
