I have 2 PT2Cs for product videos and I am very impressed with the versatility that these tubes offer especially through the Sidus Link app. I can control the lights to its most intricate details to get the type of lighting that I am looking for. The best part is that it is all wireless. You just need to make sure that they are charged up before your shoot. The powerful magnets allow you to seamlessly attach it to any magnetic surface to suspend your lighting. LOVE IT!

This was my first Aputure purchase and I LOVE IT! I have the light dome SE with this for product videos and controlling the device with Sidus Link makes pivoting scenes so easy! Love it.

At first, my plans were to use the MC Pro simply as an 'eye light', but after testing it, it's clearly a tool capable of so many applications; fill light, splashes, lighting fx, pushing practicals, work-lights on trucks, etc. Feels like a light that can 'save a shot in a pinch'. It has enough intensity to supplement the existing ambiance, whereas the previous version seemed to really serve as a 'final adjustment accent' or an eye light. Aside from the light's output capabilities, I'm impressed with the modifiers and build quality–it was wise to make this system magnetic–so easy to switch everything out. And should you drop this light, it doesn't seem like the kind of build that would shatter or crack, it's solid and dense, and partially made of aluminum. I would love a longer battery life, even if it meant the light was larger or thicker, but you can charge it while in use (via USB-C), so that's a huge feature! Phenomenal product, and can't wait to see how this light serves on every job going forward!

The features of this light make it such a no brainier. It has everything I have been wanting in a light at an affordable price. The only thing that I feel like it's missing vs a Light Storm is the ease of battery usage but I haven't really needed that option so I'm good without it. If I did need it I think I'd still be willing to just buy the batter power station accessory & still rock these lights.

This is an awesome RGB COB. It's Super versatile and has convinced me to pick up the 300c in the near future. Once you have access to RGB you will always find uses for it on set.

The new MC pro improves on the original MC. It has more options and includes nice modifiers that are very useful in a wide variety of situation. I love it.

I love my original MC’s and honestly I’m a sucker for anything new from Aputure. This little guy was SO MUCH BETTER THAN I THOUGHT! All the extra accessories included really makes this new version a little powerhouse and it’s now found a permanent place in my kit.

This is exactly what I needed to run this light on a c stand with out it spinning off a 3/8 mount. The pins keep it in place

This light is powerful and well thought out. I got the gold mount version and it works well.

We love our Amaran PT4c’s. The USB-C charging is huge for our workflow since we already have to charge MCs, MT Pros, and various other USB-C devices at the end of the day. The T-12 form factor works well in all our previously owned accessories and we are impressed with the build and battery life. These pixel tubes are great.

Was very impressed with the amount of light that comes off these and the build quality is what to be expected by Aputure. A little pricey but ill be ordering a 2nd for sure.

The Amran 200x S is true to all of the reviews I’ve seen. Very bright light with great color rendering. The fan is constant but I don't think the noise level will be a problem. The hyper reflector does produce a hot spot in the center of the light radius. Perhaps Aputure will make a fresnel lens designed for the 200x S to get rid of that hot spot but until then, a light modifier will work best with this light. Over all, a great light with an excellent color range. If not for the hot spot, I’d give it 5 stars.

The amaran PT1c is a great budget light. If there wasn’t an Aputure MT Pro, then the PT1c would be my favorite light. I made a video comparing the value to me.

I recently upgraded my BDS from purely a switch to this system. What I loved is the flexible mounting possibilities, the usb option for power out, and of course the display. The information gives me assurance of how to better plan my day as well as stay on top of the life of my batteries. Incredible value and wonderful tech.
