    Good light

Bracket on back is crap but if they send me the updated one it looks promising. Was disappointed when I saw that my. We light didn’t have the new bracket.

Amazing light for the price but beware of fan

Fan noise is on the louder side. Definitely worth testing out. Some reviews mentioned that F21C are a lot quieter due to passive cooling. I've ordered one to investigate ;) It’s similar to some battery chargers I have, but will be kept closer to set than the chargers.

I feel like a 45º baby pin would've been really helpful. I find both the straight and 90º pins don't allow for much tilt as light hits the stand quickly without arming out.

The end that attaches to the light is also a proprietary size.

    Versatile and Milky Smooth!

The quality of light from this flexible panel is probably the best I've seen! The white light is truly white--not just a desaturated RGB mix. At two hundred watts, this thing is extremely bright! I love how lightweight it is; great for C-booming over talent and the super-soft light is milky, creamy smooth! The sider, control grid, and included diffusion is very high quality--very well made with high quality materials (not just paper like other guys).

The mount is an abomination to God, though. I like the idea of the spider-like fingers to hold the panel, but maybe make it out of spring steel, make it sit flush against the back of the panel and add some velcro loops to the back of the panel (to wrap around the 'fingers') for a more positive lock. My panel slipped off the mount while I was trying to adjust it. Replace the tension-lock 'not quite a baby-pin' to baby-pin and 90 degree option with a 3/8s to female baby receiver and included a double spud for an easy fix.

Also, while I love how well made the head cable and connection is, I wish it disconnected at the panel to make non-conventional mounting and storage easier.

All in all; well worth the money.

    Amaran F22C

The Amaran F22C is a very nice addition to my lighting package. The build quality exceeded my expectations and the DMX port was a nice surprise. It’s significantly heavier than other light mats and the zipper on the Soft case is weak. It has popped several times. One other niggling criticism is that the Baby pin and L-pin could be several inches longer, which would allow the light to tilt down more. Perhaps longer pins could be an accessory for purchase? Or a different mount? Also, when I set the Police lights to Red-Blue, they turn solid pink. Otherwise I’m very happy with the F22C. It’s brighter than expected, the colors are more saturated than many other competing RGB lights, and the price is reasonable. I’m glad that there’s no built-in diffuser. I’m also happy about the option to use Gold mount batteries. Can extension cables be purchased separately? Overall I’m very happy with the system, though I do hope they fix the color problem with the Police Lights with a firmware update soon.
